While TV stations are filled with images of memorial services, and interviews with family members who lost love ones. The names of the dead of that day are read aloud, distinctly missing are the names of those who’ve died in seeking justice since. Have we honored them?…
We vowed that we would not see our way of life and freedoms destroyed by these actions, Yet our civil liberties were signed away for our own protection. Have we honored them?…
We allowed ourselves to be blinded by our paranoia, and our vengeance, believing that our leaders held our nations interest at hand, Seven years later, Have we honored them?…

Hi Kem ~ I really must apologise. I commented on this post days ago – remarking that Kris Kristofferson was one of my favourite actor/singers and agreeing with your attitude toward tje taking away of our liberties…using 9/11 as an excuse for manipulation and control.
I also mentioned how, on the day of the atrocities, an odious woman in our ‘government’ released a email to her collegues saying that it was “A good day to bury bad news.” Thankfully she was removed from her position.
Whatever happened to the original comment I don’t know…but I’m sending it again now, with my repeated apologies.

but things aren’t quite right. As the electric has been out since last Sunday due to a storm it will be nice to get back to normal.
