Stage right!

It is no easy task to focus, when working the lights above a stage. As with any show, whether comedy, drama, or tragedy, reflections and glare cast from costumes, and/or props can blind one to the subtleties of the supporting cast and scene. One begins to struggle against the routine of cell changes, miscued by the LEADS who continuously miss their marks. Striving to Re-Direct from the walks above, shadowed and shielded by the flex of a tubular iris. Un-Billed as these CAST members may be, They alone are ultimately charged with how the audience views the show.

The above holds true for those of us that work the tragedy “Man”. With no script we seek to shine reason by exposing truths about ourselves, and the angled natures of our species. Becoming lost and entangled behind the scenes, or in shadows of the walks above the crowd. Yet, in this most HUMAN of plays.. there lies an entire host of characters, whose simple placement or seemingly trivial lines, are the most important cause, for singling out for critical review, the over billed.
