NeverMore (warning graphic)

Ravenscawl is a moniker handed to me by a friend (OMEGETYMON),
One who could not know as we PONDERED the name and
spelling as to what meaning it conveyed to my being
as it had surely been a POE-ETIC take on what was
NEVERMORE. The significance it placed within me and
mine. But on this day of “ 60 YEARS of NEVER AGAIN “.
I am reminded of untold ” YEARS of NEVERMORE “.

You see the RAVEN is SYMBOLIC of TRICKERY and
DECEIT often attributed to IMPENDING DOOM. But in
this case it can also be short for “Ravensbrück” the
womens concentration camp (Training camp for the most
twisted of the SS female overseers )

I remember my Grandmother telling me in quite vivid
detail as to the her time during the Porajmos, But
this post is not really about her. More about what
she called the “MULO” (ghost, the ones who NEVER
sleep, the no MORE )

I remember how she told me once that as long as only
ONE had not been REMEMBERED then NONE would rest.
I insisted that surely those who’d been MURDERED but yet
remained UNNAMED found comfort and peace in those
that had been, And that the WORLD would NEVER AGAIN
allow another such TRAGEDY. It was then as I looked at her
aged face and the PERVERSENESS of her broken smile,
That I had the most HORRIFIC of EPIPHANIES, that it wasn’t
the MURDERED but the MURDERERS themselves she had
been speaking of.

You see just as many other peoples once believed, Those of
us RAISED and VERSED in the many superstitious folktales
of the spirits, Had been told of how at certain times those
SPIRITS could POSSESS the LIVING and  CONTINUE their
DEEDS just as they had in life. It seems that one must now
REALIZE that our ever INCREASINGLY NEGLECTED and
DWINDLING elders TRIED to WARN us. (Didn’t They?)

In one sense I believe this to be true, that the so called
spirits are really the CORPORATE DYNASTIES and FAMILY ELITES
most who still display their often infamous monikers.

As I am not here to do your homework for you.
